I read a lot. I have always read a lot. One of my earliest memories is lying in bed reading, with a pile of books next to my bed. I also own far too many books, and keep buying them even though I have so many I haven't yet read, but I do love to have choice at all times. These days I often forget about the book almost immediately after finishing it, so I want to keep a record of my reading. Here it is.

  1. I wish you The Watch Tower Sue – it’s a wonderful book – deliciously creepy and unsettliing.
    I like how you’re tackling the Dream of the Red chamber too – one dream at a time. I might have to consider that as an option too otherwise it will sit on my tbr pile forever!

    1. Ha – yes! I read a condensed version of Dream of the Red Chamber many years ago when I was studying Chinese at university. I now have a 5 volume Penguin Classics set that is called “The Story of the Stone” – they are all very long but I have only read the first one so far. I have tried reading The Watchtower once before but wasn’t in the mood – better luck next time.
